the purchase of this product was my first attempt at adding security cameras at my front of my house.
I have tested it in the first house with the receiver very close, but when I outside the unit.
signal quality is the recipient does not exist, I have tried over the next few days, never in a position to obtain a clear and acceptable. I like the features of the product, but I’ve never been able to get a reliable signal.
I myself have a few months later, you find the Logitech WiLife system that Amazon sells, and even if it costs much more. it is actually a better system, then PhoenixEX.

I used it for 2 months and it works as described. The installation is very simple. I have not encountered any interference from my other wireless devices are numerous. I have a camera mounted in each door. One is outside and was exposed to heavy rains, and continue to work properly. The night vision is not great, but I had not expected. Batteries no longer than 3-4 hours, so it is not a good solution if you do not have an outlet nearby, but probably perfect for a baby monitor to portable. The only complaint I have is that they are no extensions for AC adapter. On 6 5 m cable was not long enough for one of my installations. It would be much easier with a long adapter cord.
Update 1/21/2010 Both units continued to function well when the time has fallen into single digits. I had a box for the external camera. Snow continues to mount on the lens cover, and freeze again. The enclosure is a plastic cup of cheap. I cut a hole in the end he slipped on the front and use my friend Mr. Duct Tape, lest it blow away. I suggest that a case for keeping a list in the open the lens cover to dry. If wet on the video will be blurred until it is dry.

The cameras are inside and out. I tried to use it outside in the rain, but the camera is wet, and work stoppages. The camera is wireless, which works well until about 25 meters behind the reception very poor. I would not buy this product for the price.

If you plan on something other than the sun do not use buy it. The night view is over 4 meters in front of you and a limited circle about a foot in diameter. With lighting, the picture is dark and the colors. I should pay attention to other opinions.
